Our Review of the Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe Traveler
The Kiddopotamus Swaddle Me Traveler is really cute and really cozy. Just look at that hat! It's a nice way to keep your baby warm (and make strangers say "Aaww") while they're in their carseat or stroller. The Swaddle Me is a 'swaddle' that covers both a baby's legs and their entire body, and comes with a 15" top knot hat of the same plush velboa fabric. It works with all 3 and 5 point harness systems but will only fit infants up to around 6 months.
The Swaddle Me is sort of like a body suit that you can slide your baby in and out of. First you place the Swaddle Me on the seat before harnessing your child. Slide their legs into the leg warmers, attach the harness, then fold the wings over the baby's front and clasp them in place with the 'teddy tabs' - Man, this thing sure is cute. As far as its usefulness in a carseat goes, we do wonder if it might be a little too much, especially after the car has warmed up. If your baby starts to whine you can just undo the flaps and (s)he should be fine. It's a good item to have if you live in the cold and use a travel system stroller with your carseat.
