San Diego Magazine is presenting the 6th annual Women Who Move the City event at the Scripps Seaside Forum on Wednesday, Sept. 14th. This event pays tribute to the vibrant local women who make a positive impact on our community. “The incredible work of these women fuels the entrepreneurial and charitable spirit of San Diego on a daily basis. Our city is so fortunate to have such a diverse and devoted group of brilliant minds helming businesses, fostering nonprofits, and making a difference,” declares Jim Fitzpatrick, CEO/president of San Diego Magazine.
Lisa Druxman, founder of Stroller Strides® is proud to be one of the Women Who Move The City. “It’s an honor and an inspiration to be alongside these successful women entrepreneurs who dedicate themselves to affecting positive change in business and our community” says Druxman. Lisa created Stroller Strides 10 years ago in San Diego. It has propelled itself to one of the fastest growing franchises in the country with over 1,200 locations nationwide. Beyond her stroller fitness business, Lisa is the author of Lean Mommy and the creator of Mama Wants Her Body Back DVD series. Her greatest reward comes from creating careers that are supportive of motherhood for women across the country. Lisa believes in the great power when women get together for a cause. Her Moms With A Mission program adopts different charities each quarter, which are embraced on a local level at each of her franchises.
