My husband and I got this stroller for my then 14 month old son. I was getting into more serious running although kept my longer runs on the treadmill, I regularly took my son on 5-6 mile runs on paved roads. I planned my runs around naptime as my son would quickly pass out in it. It is a smooth ride. At first I was really pushing for a BOB stroller but we got a great deal…so figured we’d give it a shot. You have to push down on the handle bars when turning, as with any stationary front wheel, but once you get used to it it is no big deal. I love thaat it has big wheels as it is easy to go over curbs. We are now expecting twins and are looking into double strollers so my hubby and I can run side to side (triple joggers are very expensive for a decent one and way too heavy to be pushing the weight of three kids on a long run). I will look into the double of this version or a BOB Ironman Duallie for my marathon training…to begin a few months after our twin girls are born. For a runner on a budget…definitely buy it!!!! We will continue to use it for our son who is now almost two.

This stroller is very sturdy and comfortable for my daughter. The straps are a little big for her. This stroller is for serious jogging and for use on gravel trails. The front wheel is stationary, so this stroller is not the best for quick maneuvering. I like that the stroller already has a rain cover zipped into the canopy, so you don’t need to buy a separate rain shield. I live on the second floor of an apartment building, and the stroller is a bit heavy for lugging up and down the stairs. That is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five.
